Desert Auto — automation for inventory and lead enrichment
A used car dealership that wanted its admin team out of the copy-paste business so they could focus on closing deals.
What we walked into
Desert Auto Group was running a used car lot. Their admin team spent days scraping competitor inventory, updating a pricing sheet, and enriching every inbound lead by looking up VIN, CarFax, and trade-in values. The process was error-prone and ate the day.
How we built it
Bot 1: Inventory scraping and pricing intelligence
A Playwright bot that visits competitor sites nightly, extracts vehicle data, and writes to a PostgreSQL database. A morning email to the sales manager flags any vehicle where Desert Auto is priced above competitors or where a competitor dropped price.
Bot 2: Lead enrichment
When a lead fills out the site form, the bot automatically looks up VIN, fetches CarFax history, queries trade-in value, scores the lead, and creates a pre-filled deal sheet. The sales rep sees a complete picture the moment they open the email.
What we measured
Our admin team stopped copy-pasting all day. The bots handle the boring stuff and the team now works on closing deals.
